SOBER.
SEEN.
SUPPORTED.

Sharpen Recovery is a supportive recovery housing community where you're sober, seen, and supported. With structure, peer support, and leaders who’ve walked the same road, you'll find the connection and accountability you've been longing for.

Why Sharpen

Our recovery housing environment helps you grow in a way that’s both challenging and compassionate.

Trying to get or stay sober in the same environment—around the same people, places, and routines—can set many up for relapse. It’s like skipping physical therapy after surgery and jumping straight back into your old workout—you’re likely to get hurt again.

Sharpen provides the space and support people need to heal, rebuild, and move forward with a foundation of strength and confidence.

Testimonials

"For years, I battled addiction and despair, trying to recover on my own and failing every time. It wasn’t until I truly surrendered, to God and to the process that everything changed. Sharpen Recovery became the foundation for my healing.”

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What types of participants are a good fit for Sharpen Recovery?
We serve adults committed to sobriety who are ready for structured, community-based recovery housing. Ideal candidates are transitioning from treatment, incarceration, or crisis and are looking for long-term change in a values-driven, peer-supported environment.
  • What sets Sharpen Recovery apart from other recovery homes?
We go beyond providing a bed. Sharpen offers a multi-staged recovery process, experienced staff, and a Christ-centered community rooted in accountability and connection—giving participants the tools to build stability that lasts.
  • Is there an application process, and how quickly can someone be admitted?
Yes. We have a clear intake process that includes a brief screening to ensure our program is the right fit. We aim to move quickly and communicate closely with both clients and referrers during transitions. Depending on the application, we can provide a move-in within 1-3 days.
  • Do you coordinate with treatment centers or other care providers during the transition?
Absolutely. We value collaboration and are happy to coordinate with treatment teams, case managers, or discharge planners to ensure a smooth, supportive handoff into our program.
  • Is Sharpen Recovery faith-based, and does that affect admission?
While our program is Christ-centered, we welcome participants of all faith backgrounds—or none—as long as they’re open to the community, values, and structure we provide. Faith is foundational, but not forced.
